11 Sep Join Me at Social Good Festival!
I am a big fan of Social Enterprise Alliance, and especially of the local Los Angeles team. This year, SEA is hosting its national Summit in LA, which will close with a free festival.
Social Good Festival will take place at Grand Park in Downtown Los Angeles, on Tuesday, September 19th from 5 to 10 pm. My meetup group will meet there 7-9 pm, join us to make new friends and delve into local LA social enterprises, while listening to live music, eating at local food trucks and shopping at the social good marketplace.
The Marketplace will feature: TOM’s Shoes, Freeleaf, Tribe West, Tingomo, Women’s Bean Project, Piece by Piece, Made by DWC, Sesamaise Tahini, Three Sisters, and For Purpose Kid.
Food will be provided by Border Grill, LocoL, The Grilled Cheese Truck, and Dry River Brewing. And HAWAI and DJ Smiles Davis will be playing.
Social Enterprise Alliance has been organizing its nationwide Summits since 1998, and this year’s Summit ’17 promises to be outstanding. With over 70 speakers (including from TOMS, enso, REDF, the City of LA, LURN, Downtown Women’s Center, and more), social enterprise tours and special networking opportunities, get ready for two days packed with information and inspiration.
